Emily has been an ACE Certified Personal Trainer since 2017.  She graduated from Roanoke College with a Bachelor's Degree in Health and Exercise Science, with a minor in Marketing.  She is also certified in TRX and Spin. Emily became a co-owner of Body Works Fitness in March of 2021. A marathon runner who has been involved in health and fitness her whole life, Emily has experience coaching athletics and training a variety of fitness levels.  She played tennis for Roanoke College, helping her relate to young athletes and their different levels.

Certified Personal Trainer

Nick is an Certified Personal Trainer who graduated from Roanoke College in 2017.  In March of 2021, he and his wife Emily purchased Body Works and formed Body Works Fitness & Training Center.  Nick's primary focus is in human performance and injury prevention.  He is also certified in Spin. As a former collegiate athlete,  Nick understands the training and nutritional needs of a body in all phases of training and play. He uses a highly calculated approach to helping clients achieve their goals and enjoys working with clients of all ages, levels and experiences.  Whether your goal is to increase athletic performance, or ensure a lifetime of pain-free movement, Nick is eager to provide the assistance you need to exceed your goals.

Certified Personal Trainer

Krystal became an ISSA personal trainer in the fall of 2021.  For over six years, she has taught Group Fitness using her TRX and Yoga certifications.  She is an ultra marathon runner and holds an Associates Degree in Accounting and is pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Liberty University.  Moving from Asheville, NC in 2009, she currently lives in Abingdon, VA.

Certified Massage Therapist
and Yoga Instructor


Jacqueline received her massage training in the coastal North Carolina area in 2017-2018. She is also a yoga teacher, receiving her 200 RYT under the style of Tantra Hatha Vinyasa. She offers a variety of modalities for your custom massage. Cupping, gua sha (scrapping), pressure point therapy, deep tissues, Thai foot and table techniques, guided meditations, and assisted stretching are just a few techniques provided to help you to achieve your ultimate therapeutic/relaxation goals.  Jacqueline weaves her trainings from both backgrounds, along with intuition, to create a welcoming environment that will nourish your mind, body, and soul.
